Lombardi to Phoenix for conditional pick

Would be a 4th rounder.
Turns into a third rounder if he re-signs there.
Good deal, we clear up some cap space.
Could end up being Lebda and Slaney for Franson and 3rd rounder.

Is a good deal regardless. I thought he was trash last year and wanted him in the press box. Of course, he could very well bounce back in Phoenix, but I'd rather give a kid the opportunity. We're eating some of that salary, not that it matters much.

Agree. One season further removed from injury. In an environment he is used to. Good luck to him.
