What do teams look for in NHL players? Like in NBA its height, quickness, wingspan, defence..etc. In NHL everybody is on ice so can't measure speed...I know I sound like a noob, never watched a NHL game in my life

Size, reach, speed (agility, acceleration), puck handling, quick hands, hand-eye coordination, playmaking, shot accuracy & power (in wrist shot, slapshot, backhand, are the shots release quick?), faceoff, strength along the boards, how well they do or stay in the offensive/defensive zone, etc. Too many.
