John Tavares signed with the Leafs!
Reported terms: $11M/yr for seven years. Second highest contract after McDavid's. Still, I'm thrilled he's on our roster.

I think Matthews gets at least 11 million a year too. Probably more tho.
Need Marner and Nylander to get good deals for the Leafs.
The D will most likely be pretty weak, but if the Penguins can pull it off, so can we. Especially with Babcock behind the bench.

We need better puckhandlers on the blueline. They don't have to be great defenders but offensive-first teams that succeed best are the ones with lineups of guys who dominate puck possession
