This has to be the first time I've ever cared about an Islanders-Devils game.
I knew TSN would pick it up - they'd be crazy not to with the ratings they're going to get!

All you Raptors freaks with your Get Well Garbo sigs need to stay the hell off this board if you're coming on to rip the Leafs. You are insecure and just detest the fact that the Leafs on a Monday morning could outdraw the Raptors Game 7 playoff game 10 fold and that's the truth. I know it hurts, but stay away.

WTF? And then you wonder why so many Raps fans hate the Leafs so much.
Anyways, any indication that Brodeur is playing? I keep hearing conflicting reports. I doubt it even matters to the Islanders. They probably don't want to get in with the feeling that they were "handed" anything. Nolan is going to have them fired up and the Devils are basically playing for nothing.

640 reports that Brodeur has told the media that he definitely is NOT playing today.
New Jersey Devils vs. NY Islanders (this season)
W=5 OTW=1 T=0 L=1 OTL=0 17-11
Devils are 6-0-0 in lthe ast six meetings vs the Isles, and following a 3-2 win March 27, outscoring New York 17-11, while holding a 211-203 edge in shots.

The Devils don't need Brodeur to win this game. They are a good enough team to beat the Isles.
Of course, if they rest everyone else, then it's a different story...
