Leafs season ticket holders will pay nearly six per cent more to watch the Buds at the Air Canada Centre in 2007-08. The highest priced ducats have been raised the most with platinum and gold sides going up to $182 each from $171.52. The lowest priced seats, purples, have been raised to $37 from $34.70.

What a crock of shyte. With the salary cap they made boatloads of more money, and they have the nerve to do this. Captain useless Dick Peddie himself came out and tried to justify this by saying, among other things, that they had more coaches.

Unbeleiveable. I'm such a diehard fan, but part of me hopes this team never wins until they sell to someone who gives a shyte.

They give us that crap then expect us to pay more for the same team over and over again, the gall of them!

There is certainly passion at the ACC, it's just not when the Leafs play.

This is a typical TML move, raise prices after a S*** season, go out and sign some big names to overpaid contracts and sell the idea as if they are truly trying to build a championship team.

Meanwhile, we see how real organizations are run in Ottawa, Detroit, San Jose, Buffalo, even Nashville and such.

it doesnt really matter how much they raise theyre prices ... at the end of the day the seats are all full and leaf fans are willing to pay any price to watch there team play.

That's true, although how many of those seats are filled by Leaf fans or just corporate types handling business.

That's why I sit and laugh at the Leafs, their fans and the whole situation. Has any set of fans truly been as mistreated as Leaf fans. Not even a sniff of finals in 40 year's, no true effort to put out a championship caliber team. As bad as they were in the 80's, they should have had a dynasty in the 90's and they f'd that up.

I have given up on supporting this team until I see true signs from management that they are building a championship team. Until then, go Sens or Pens or Sharks.
