ok obviously this is a rumour but just want to know if it is possible? for example if we get rid of kubina somehow can we do this? read it off eklunds report (hockey buzz).

There's almost no chance that the Leafs sign Souray. We'd have half of our cap space locked up on defenseman. If we traded Kubina, I'd rather acquire more of a defensive shutdown type of defenseman to accomodate McCabe, Coliacovo and Kaberle.

Doesn't Kubina make like 5mil/year? if so why would anyone trade for him when they could probably have souray for similar money?

Another offensive defenceman is not what you guys need. I don't see the Habs resigning him either, unless they make it a S&T.

F*uck, if were going to trade Kubina and then look to aquire another defencemen go after someone like Scott Hannan.

Souray is not coming nor is he rumored to come to toronto
