Forget Yashin or Hejduk. Forsberg is an injury risk but could be had for a bargain price considering his immense talent. If we can clear cap room by unloading Kubina, I'd say locking up Forsberg for around $4M is the best option.

Yes, we have a good 2nd center in Wellwood, but signing Forsberg would allow us to move Sundin to the top line wing. How much would Forsberg and Sundin LOVE to play with each other on the same line just like they have so successfully at the Olympics for Sweden?

Sundin/Forsberg/Blake
Steen/Wellwood/Tucker
Poni/Antropov/Bell
Deveraux/Stajan/Kilger

Forsberg plays with heart and grit and is undoubtably one of the top 5 playmakers in the game today. Do it up JFJ!

I would be all for it, i was all for it a couple years ago but.....i have a feeling he'll have yet another injury plagued season
