OT: Cammellari Awarded 2yr deal worth 6.7 Million

This might get the wheels in motion for a Raycroft to LA deal....I'm not too sure of the specifics, but if you look at the rumors thread recently, there was some discussion about Raycroft being dealt there if MC gets a contract that's too high.

It is believed Cammalleri was looking for an annual salary of $6 million after leading the Kings in scoring last season with 34 goals and 80 points. The team appeared to be willing to offer a $2.6 million deal, a $900,000 increase on last year's $1.7 million contract.
"We got there the hard way," Kings general manager Dean Lombardi told the Los Angeles Times. "Nobody wins at these things. I think it is safe to say it came out closer to our end. But these situations aren't for winning and losing."
