Some Bio's on young players in our system...

We have some very decent defencemen coming up...

would like to see something on Aubin out of the Quebec League

I didn't even realize Stralman's a RH shot.....he's a nice addition to the D core if that's the case.....a whole lot better than the other 7th D RH shot (Belak).

Robbie Earl is a player that catches my attention....not too sure how he'll do....but the kid's got amazing wheels.

Thanks for the link :)

I'd also like to wish best of luck and health to Karel Pilar who was signed by the ATL Thrashes today....I've always liked the way he played, too bad for the ticker he had.

Kulemin's the one who intrigues me the most out of that crop and think he will turn out to be the best player of the 4 (Pogge, Stralman, Tlusty, Kulemin). Stralman is starting to get crazy hype around some boards and I feel alot of Leafs fans are setting themselves up for dissapointment. The hype on HFboards of him is getting out of control, people talking like he's a sure fire bet to become a top 2 defencemen on this team eventually and a top 10 blueliner in the league.

Id like to see Jeremy Williams make this team this season.

He's definitely someone to watch. I've pegged him and Vorobiev as 'wildcards' within the Leaf prospect pool.

Did anyone catch this about Kulemin..

"He'll go back to Russia for one more year, but he'll be at our training camp in September," Ferguson said.

If that's true, I cannot wait to see him in camp.

I found these Bio's on Brent Aubin, he was a really prolific scorer in the Quebec League and was undrafted but Leafs signed him as a free agent...

Not sure why he wasn't drafted but it may be because of his size 5' 9", he is rated by HF as a probable top 6 forward...

Someone to keep an eye on for sure. it would be nice to see another Martin St. Louis type of player on our team. Watch the video of him scoring his 44 goal...

Aubin is a fantastic offensive player, and in the 'new nhl', that could come in handy. I'd like to see what he can do in the Marlies for us in the upcoming future.

James Reimer is another player that can turn some heads. He's improved since the Leafs have drafted him, to the point where he's recieved some attention in the CHL. Considering that we've traded Rask, it's good that we have another goaltender coming through the system. He may not be 'star' material, but we'll see what he can do this season. If he continues to improve like he did this past season, we may have something.

Here is an HF article on our top 20 prospects...

It is a pretty fair evaluation of our top 20 prospects and a good read...
