Very interesting, I haven't seen the kid play but I hear he's got some solid potential. Here is some info:
• Paradis helped lead the Shawinigan Cataractes to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s – they fell to Drummondville in seven games. He had 12 points (6-6-12), including, two game-winning goals, in 21 playoff games in 2009.
• During the regular season, he posted 50 points (19-31-50) in 66 games.
• At the 2009 CHL Top Prospects, event, Paradis blasted a 95.7 miles-per-hour shot in the hardest shot competition, defeating seven other prospects.
• Paradis started playing hockey when he was three-years-old and he credits his parents for having the most influence on his career with their constant support and sacrifices.
• His favorite players are Edmonton’s Ales Hemsky and Chicago’s Martin Havlat -- he patterns his game after their skill, but tries to add a stronger physical presence to his own game.

Talent Analysis
A mixture of physical presence and scoring skill, Paradis is an attractive prospect. He possesses a hard shot and has the ability to make room for himself and his teammates on the ice. Paradis isn't a player to back down from a challenge. Already an intriguing medley of grit and ability, if Paradis gets faster and stronger, he could become a dominant force in the QMJHL. - HF
Some analysis from when he was drafted:
Analysis: "This guy can shoot a puck through a wall. With Paradis, Carolina's got some good young forwards to provide insulation for Eric Staal." - Pierre McGuire
Tlusty has the ability to become a very solid top 6 forward in the future, but Toronto really wasn't the place for him. I don't know much about Paradis, but a gritty forward with a lot of offensive ability (including a hammer of a shot) sounds like a pretty solid pick up. And why is Burkie going after Habs fans
