The Knicks' number one need is probably a high quality wing who also plays defence. Kawhi of six years ago. Maybe Brown is somewhat close

A more attainable possibility is KP.

It’s too soon to tell. Let’s see who shakes loose who makes near Fournier Money and doesn’t play for a divisional rival….

It has to be Jaylen Brown IMO. Two way wings are crucial in todays game. No one else is even close in terms of value.

See this logic is flawed. Why does it always have to be a star? In my humble opinion it takes role players who will STAR in their roles. You have to have 1-2 guys that can get a bucket when you need but overall its about the pieces to the puzzle…

So let’s rephrase - who is the next piece to the pusszle that makes an impact on our roster?

RJ sucks on defense too… rather have far better and efficient scorers/playmakers like Beal or LaVine starting in his place. We are over the cap anyway so who cares how much they’re getting paid. This team would be significantly better with one of them in RJ’s spot.

What about this logic is flawed? How many teams in history have won a title without a superstar? I’ll wait.

Lavine would be a Ben Simmons level mistake though. No to Lavine.

you are asking to get another big star. i don’t think you need that…that’s all i am saying. Brunson is a dude…Randle is good as a second fiddle…then it comes down to your bench and role players.

Warriors - Curry? Klay (not really a star last year) Draymond star or role player?
Bucks - Giannis then? Middleton is he a star?
Lakers - Lebron and?
Raptors - Kwahi and?
Warriors - Curry and durant - special
Warriors - Curry and durant - special
Cavs - Lebron and kyrie
Warriors - Curry and?
Spurs - Duncan - kwai rising player not a star yet…bunch of role players

I think we need another knock down shooter - maybe grimes can become this..but a guy who will hit shots when open after two one mores…

A back-up PG than can give IQ a chance to be more of a 2…

Who they are yet TBD:

Maybe
Brooks
Beasly
Bogdonovic
White
Dialo
Divencenzo
Johnson
hampton
OG as a flyer if you think you can get him..

I also think addition by subtraction if you can figure how to move RJ? don’t think he fits with what we have…

“Another big star”? But we don’t even have 1 big star… Jalen didn’t even make the All-Star team. Are you mentioning him in the same breath as LeBron, Duncan, Steph, Kawhi, and Giannis? He was Luka’s #2, and they didn’t even get out of the West. And Randle is a 3rd option at best on a championship team.
