IDK if they can wait on Thompson to find range, but that team has some good bones to it.

Grimms will likely play off the bench for Detroit the rest of the year (baring injuries). A lot of Pistons fans are excited to see Grimes and Sasser reunite and play together off the bench. If Grimes is anything like Sasser (who's been really good), he'll fit in just fine. Fun fact, Both were pick #25 in their respective drafts.

I use to fk with you, until you asked to be traded. Now it's whatever.

Grimes was fine with us for 2.5 years, but we were going to come to an inflection point with him sooner than later.

You can find guys like Grimes in the draft.
You also don't want to expend too much money to keep Grimes.

With Grimes clearly not being a key cog in any superstar trade, you're basically stuck. I think he'll be fine, but he's way more useful to winning teams than he is on teams like Detroit. 11 times out of 10 you make this trade.

Grimes kind of afraid to shoot. As happens sometimes in relationships, the Knicks totally overcompensated in their next relationship, choosing to replace him with someone who SHOULD be more afraid to shoot.
