This is what it’s all about. You gotta watch till the end. This is hysterical. The OG needs his own sitcom.
I’ll take y’all on. You can’t handle MY smoke!!!

I did. Hang out around the basketball courts in your neighborhood and all your greatest dreams will come true.
Seriously, is there anything better than hanging out on the courts talking trash with your neighborhood friends? It just brought back a lot of good memories for me.

That’s one philosophy. Woody Allen said in Annie Hall, “Life is divided between the horrible and the miserable. The “horrible” is when people die in car crashes or lose limbs in war. The “miserable” is everything else.” But it is better if you’re playing basketball with your friends at the rec center/playground. Theres no denying that.
Life is also absurd (Camus). It all depends how you look at it I suppose.
The meaning of life is enjoying the passage of time. How’s that for profound?

Had some of the best times playing ball in the hood. Memories for life. I remember one summer before my senior year and we were playing evening ball at the high school. It was July/August and the gym was HOT and HUMID. We’re playing 4 on 4 half court and we’re skins. We just won and the next team (shirts) is getting ready to come onto to the court when my **** friend Mike says to me, “Hey Wingo, give Kenny your shirt because he needs one.” Kenny was drafted to play with the skins but came without a shirt. Like I said it was hot. So I walked over and grabbed Mike’s shirt and tossed it to Kenny. Then I gave Mike the finger.
OG should have his own sitcom

Whether its weekly pickup games at home the local gym or league play with my brothers and child hood friends, basketball is the purest Joy (outside my wife/kids/gamily) that I’ve experienced in life.
Great excercise. Camaraderie with friends and strangers (who then become friends). Discipline. Focus.
What’s better than putting together a great night on the court, whether it’s shooting lights out from 3, putting on a passing clinic/team centric ball, out hustling everyone else, or winning every game you run for the nite?
Basketball is the best. Basketball is the meaning of life.. jk.. I think? lol

i love basketball and human connection the way you do, honestly.
it's also why i have loved this forum. for the most part, i don't know who (most of) the rest of you are IRL, but i get glimpses of your humanity that i appreciate.
