Begley just reported the goal for him after he comes back is to play a max of 30-35 games. Won’t play back to back. Want him fully fresh for playoffs. He’s running. But not sprinting/ taking full contact yet.

I really don't care what Begley has to say. He's a hack. If he somehow got that info from a reliable source, why can't Thibs tell us that? We have 46 games to go. If he's only gonna play in 30-35 games and no back to backs then they should have and idea when he will return.

I want the team to give us an actual clue. It has been like 8 months since Mitch was injured again. What's the deal? His trade value has to be pretty low so, you're not fooling anyone there. There is no way possible that they don't have an estimated time for return. Instead of letting the media push the narrative just give us an honest answer! He's not sprinting or ready for full contact is just nonsense as an answer.

I'll try to guestimate based on Begley guessing.

We have 10 B2BS remaining (I think we have B2B B2Bs four times!) So there's 5 games he won't play out of the 46 left. 41 games remaining. If he is to play 30-35 then he won't be back for 6-11 games? That looks like 1/15 or 1/27 before we see him back. The team can't figure it out yet? Of course not. He's not sprinting yet so, we have no clue.

My guess...1/27. A week before the TDL.

Begley is one of the organizations main mouthpieces. So what he said is very likely good info JB.

He is probably still trending for end of Jan beginning of Feb timeframe.

No he isn't.

So the Knicks are paying him 12 mill a year just for the playoffs? I know it's not his fault and his body is failing him but I really would like a decent available backup center.

So would I. I think we need someone exactly like him though. Not sure we can find that on the market right now. Especially with his trade value in the tank. He needs to come back and stay healthy whether we want to replace him or not. It's a risky gamble but, what are the options? Sell low?

Mitch's contract is a double edge sword, good part is that he doesn't take a huge salary cap hit but the bad part is that it is hard to get someone equal value of his talent.

Unfortunately, yes... our depth is so bleak its really sad. I'm not panicking but we do have the worst bench in the league.

They are stuck with him, as he's already broken beyond repair, but they are hoping by leaking information about his rehab some incredibly stupid team will trade for him.

Isiah still advising PHX, so there's the one shot.

Thats a great idea. I think the Suns need is a rim protector. Would you trade Mitch to the Suns for Royce O'Neale in a 3+ team trade?

We don't even have a bench. Random 2.5 players doing the revolving injury shuffle every other week/month Playing 45 minutes a game combined.

They play better with Royce than they do with Beal.

Well, I just read that tweet that execs don't believe Mitch is an asset and we have to attach something with him. I guess we would need to keep him if he is just a salary matcher.

We all know Mitch ain't going to give us 10+ points off the bench every night and that's something we seriously need.

We need rim protection and rebounding that Mitch provides. The scoring has to come from somewhere else.

Faith in Son ship wipes us entirely clean.

Ephesians 1:4-7 NIV

[4] For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love [5] he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— [6] to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. [7] In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

So he absolutely died for your sins! Our sins no longer define us in Christ brothers!
New reality of Son ship!
All who receive and believe in Jesus, given the right to become children of God. Not born of flesh, but born of Spirit. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Glory that came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
