How good is Quenton Grimes?

Averaging 18 pts on 59.9 true shooting percentage with Philly. Even better than that if you just look at his recent games, including a 44 pt performance and a few 30s and a 25. I realize Philly is short handed, but he looks like a keeper for them. He's a restricted free agent this off-season. I'm curious if any team makes him a big offer.

His per 36 was solid with Dallas too, though he didn't shoot that much, 16 pts, 12 FG per 36, nearly 40% from 3.

He is good, but I don't know if he is better than Mikal, which is what the Grimes trade eventually developed into

I don't think he is, but I don't think he's all that far off.

Not to rub salt in the dam, but Grimes + 5 picks, even late first rounders, might be better than Mikal. But Thibs didn't seem to like Grimes, so, there was that.

I'm just wondering if he'll get 30 million a year like Quickley did. Probably not, but I wouldn't be outright shocked if he did. I'm glad to see him having some success for the Tankers, I mean, Sixers.

and - oh look. A fight in my already terrible thread idea. Just what this thread needed.

I like that Grimes is getting some minutes and having some success.

WTF are talking about? Michael Jordan put up numbers in lots of losses until Pippen got him on the winning track. One guy continually leading the team in scoring on a bad team is not a cookie cutter indictment against him. What a stupid thing to say

Grimes was never trash, he just had no real opportunity within the Knicks offense. We saw the scorer he could be in summer league and on the Knicks when he gets more than 10 shots a game and not just sitting in the corner. Glad he is getting his shot now.
