It doesn't completely suck... mikal and kat and jHart are nice. It's just we need more and with what we gave up were locked into THIS... so now we fire thibs add a bench piece and hope

You have to realize you're dealing with a lot of New Yorkers, I'm not here for nuance or to yield positions.

I wouldn't go that far, but I've also not completely given up. I want to see how they do in the playoffs.

Get Brunson back. Kat is still talented. OGA is great. The team feels poorly put together and they have no bench most of the time, but I want to see them in the playoffs first before passing judgement.

I don't pretend to think I can sway anyone here.

I get that sports fandom is hot takes and standing on one side. But if were real here this isn't a b&w issue. Both sides are right/wrong. We have a roster issue and a thibs issue. It's just easier to move on from the coach. but mikal is soft and kat is a dummy and jHart can't shoot and we don't have a 2nd creator and our bench is suspect. So go on and blame thibs. Cause he isn't maximizing his players. But all that other sht is still here when he is gone. And since you stand on business you're gonna have to answer for Leon's crimes while I've played both sides.

I would have thought you learned from Greenie, but I see you're still not up to the ways of his teachings. I however, have learned from him, and as someone who studied under Greenie, all I saw was that you agreed with me about Thibs. Everything else is unimportant!!!!

Huk looks OK, but perhaps a 10 minute a game bench player. Time will tell.

Dadiet is young enough that he could get better and McCullar is interesting, though he missed most of the year and he's only just starting.

But I agree with you in the sense that Kolek is the most interesting, well, since Grimes or maybe McBride.

Knicks have their first rounder in 2026, a few extra 2nds coming up, and I assume the Wiz pick turns into a 2nd rounder (or 2 2nds, I don't remember)

But lots of unknowns. I think they did OK in the last draft. All 4 players are kind of interesting.

McC is basically a red shirt rookie next year. He has barely been active most of this year. Looks like he has the physical tools and some quickness. Should be an interesting project if he can stay healthy.

Same with Pac but he's younger and not as physically grown yet. He showed a little bit with his spacing and moving to the right spots. Some hustle on D and can get hot from three. Another young project.

Huk was beginning to get into his amd the injury happened. All three of these guys are in the same mold right now in my eyes. Potential flashes but, all injury issues. Huk seems further along than the other two though.

Kolek is playing for now. No injuries. Took advantage early when he got the opportunity kinda plateaued a bit. Not bad. Just hasn't scored well and hasn't pulled a Linsanity. He's small ans needs to bulk up and work on his scoring. Seems like he should be able to put it together. Better defender than I expected by far as well. Him and Huk seem closest at the moment.

Who knows what another full summer can do for any of these kids? We really need to hit on a couple though.

Yep. That's an unknown for next season, if Huk, Kolek & McCuller (and maybe Dadiet) can become a servicable bench for NY next year.

Maybe they trade Mitch in the off-season (final year of his contract and injury prone but when healthy, I think he could help us). Maybe they trade Mikal rather than extend him, since he's not been that great and McBride's contract is certainly tradable, but they'd want somethign good back. There are questions and maybe moves to be made, but the bench will probably come from our rookies this year, and maybe Delon Wright. Maybe Shamet comes back. It feels thin, but there's a chance our rookies this year become a solid bench next year. Maybe. But it's a stretch.

Leon loves making moves, so I have no idea what next year will look like. I miss Hartenstein. . . . a ton of unknowns, but first things first. Lets see how this oddly put together but talented team performs in the playoffs. Maybe they'll start playing defense when it's down to a 7-game series.

Anyone who thinks that this team was built to win a championship this season was setting themselves up for a huge disappointment.

I expect really big things next season.

I expect a championship the year after next.

If what MITCH gave/gives us this season is what to expect the next season, do u keep him or trade him? Not him potentially playing 70 games or more which we KNOW will not happen but JUST what he gives us this season repeated?

I'm going to throw in the towel on that one. We haven't seen enough of Mitch so far. Maybe he'll save us in the playoffs, so, I'm open to either option, keep him or trade him.
