And they wonder why Mikal is inconsistent

People need to put these two together and try to be objective

not mad. I thought it was impressive the first 30-32 minutes. what do you expect, missing 3 of your top 7 guys on a b2b?

If Leon knew that a) we trade for Towns later in the offseason and b) OGs breakout on offense, there is no way we make the Bridges trade imo.

This team will be in the finals once Brunson and Mitch return.

next season is mikal's contract year, is it not?

wont be surprised if he "shows up" next season.

couple quick ones:
- would love to have Wright as the Backup instead of Payne. could use his defense
- how was KAT bad in this game? at least solid other than the turnovers
- just love the classic blue jerseys on the road

If Leon is still here in the summer of 2026 he needs to make every effort to sign and trade Mikal.

Do we need a bigger Mikal or a bigger Deuce?

Is it Mikal who needs replacing in the SL or is it Josh?

Josh needs to sit, absolutely, but Mikal can't do what he did last night and expect to be apart of this team long term.

I agree that Tom's usage of Mikal has been super problematic. Tom's approach to defense in the modern era is asinine and that's why coaches like Atkinson basically coach circles around him with little effort.

But I can't give Mikal a pass as an individual either. 6 FGAs last night after what OG did to help the team early on is not cool.

Should Bridges and Hart finish first and second in the league in total minutes played, it would be the third time in Thibodeau's coaching career -- 2016-17 and 2020-21 being the others -- that two of his players led the NBA in minutes. There have been just two other seasons in the league's 79-year history where one team had two players leading the NBA in minutes.

Yeah, it was crazy watching the Cavs switching constantly and stalling our offense while somehow still watching our players have to fight over screens even with multiple defenders on the court being between 6'5 - 6'8 with Wright at the 1 and Precious coming in for KAT at the 5.

Why do you expect us to ever not have 2-3 of our tOp pLaYeRs missing?

The numbers presented this way are incriminating. And of course, we're limping into the playoffs which is our tradition at this point.
