Thibs is fully committed to Mitch getting minutes at Center AND Power Forward

He has given up on Achiuwa and Mitch being able to share the floor in this new NBA

What's tough is that when Boston rests Tatum or Jaylon Brown, they counter with an aggressive Pritchard. If it were vintage Deuce I wouldn't be worried, but this version of him is getting outplayed by all bench guards. Unfortunately we have to go against the best guard(player) in the league. This one factor could pretty much determine the series. I don't think Delon Wright or Shamet can fix it, but a better version version of McBride could do it. I just haven't seen it all season, so I don't expect it to suddenly appear in the ECF semis. Especially after watching journeyman Shroeder carry Detroit's bench.

I'm not ready to give up on Deuce. Some of the shots that didn't fall in this clips were close. He's active and playing hard. He needs a few of these shots to fall to get his confidence back. I have hope that he can shoot a better percentage against Boston.

Even in the clips you show, the defenses are soft rotating to him and going under the screen on him. We don't have time for regaining confidence. We need execution if teams are going to double cover the stars. He needs to hit the open shots. We also don't have a better player on the bench at guard unfortunately, so it's a tough situation. I hope he can have 1 or 2 games like he had in Philly last year or we have no chance.

This Deuce can help us beat Boston.
