Glad Mitch is finally getting recognition. Used to hear a lot about how he never improved, but he’s come a long way from when he was first drafted. That Mitch extension was also a steal for us.

Re: The Decision to hold on to Mitchell Robinson made this playoff run
If Mitch could be talked into shooting the underhanded free throw and make 70% of the free throws, teams would not hack a Mitch. I truly believe we would be at an even higher level. If Mitchy could play 25-30 minutes he would devastate the Pacers and he would devastate whoever we would face in the finals.
The crazy thing is that even if he did it only like 3-4 times and hit the free throws at a higher rate, that would already keep teams from hacking him.

Arguably our second best player so far in the post season after Brunson

When Mitch is healthy he makes Knicks fans forget about Walker Kessler.

Mitch Robinson was a huge part of our success against Boston. He is back to last year's playoffs form. His ankle injury was the main concern with him, whether he'd return to form after having 2 ankle surgeries on the same ankle. Just wish he could hit free throws so he's not a liability when the other team is over the foul limit.
SELL THE TEAM, JIM!!!

Disclaimer - I have no medical knowledge at all.

However, Mitch's ankle surgeries always seemed like something that one could make a 100% comeback from. Tatum's ACL, idk, KD basically was all right afterwards, but one has to worry he won't be the same player again.
Mitch getting back to 2nd/3rd year in the league body shape, but being in his mid-late 20s rather than exactly 20 seems like a much more important strand in the story.

100% Cap...I'm proud of Mitch. He hung in there mentally and look at him now. I also believe as each series is completed Mitch's conditioning
and basketball memory gets better. I expect him to have an even better series against Indy.
