What does that get you, anyway? It might be different if winning it got you a better seeding than otherwise.

I think players get a trophy and money, they still trying to make the all star game watchable.

Not just a title...they have to win dancing with the stars, too.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Normally I'd say finals but the (l)East is worse than when NJ went twice. Championship or bust since you sacrificed your cap and draft for half a decade.

Real success would be pulling a miracle and getting a top 3 pick in a stacked draft in the one year out of the next 6 we control our pick. Adding a quality player for cheap and possibly being able to compete with a western team.

I would consider it a successful season if the Knicks are a top 3 seed in the east and are not eliminated by a team that I feel they are better than in the playoffs.

not sure what value to put on this but ESPN snap poll of 8 scouts (who knows their level of smarts) puts Knicks as second in East for next season. Cavs solid first with 7 fpv and Knicks solid 2nd with 1 fpv and 5 2nds. But these voters could be the equivalent of 8 Fizdales.

Got a new coach. Season is already a success on the strength of that alone. 8-)

We're laying the foundation of sustainable success by going for a title while developing cost-controlled young talent.
