It's preseason yeah but not gonna lie man.

It's honestly weird seeing an actual competent looking player behind center for us.

Obviously Russ is gonna play all year but this kid has some tools and a heady demeanor that you can't teach.

I feel optimistic.

We know that Malik can play.

Dart showed something. He needs to keep learning and working. I'm not in a rush to put him against ones. Build him up and develop him. If the season gets out of hand, let him play.

Abdul Carter looks like a machine and he is probably the weakest and slowest that he will be of his career.

Mbow :o

I need to see what that other RB can do. The kid Skat that we drafted.

The offensive line looked pretty good. Let's see how we stand up against the Jets

We only got one drive from the starters. Too little to get overexcited, but I loved this…

That's a big, mean young man. The fact that he might he able to play both T spots is scary. How did he fall to us again?

Today is the Jets/Giants joint practice.

Unfortunately we won't get any reps between Nabers and Sauce, Malik is not practicing.

I fully expect to see videos of hand to hand combat though, that Jets OL vs Giants DL match up is gonna be crazy.

As per annual tradition, I have scrolled this thread, watched twitter clips from scrimmages, and am now sufficiently pre-season hyped into believing these NY Football Giants might actually have a good season. LFG.

Spoiler:
What could possibly go wrong?

This is obviously Giants focused.

Russ struggled today versus the Jets 1st team D. Multiple sacks taken. :noway: no AT or Nabers tho. Two TDs during red zone drills. Looks like the OL got spanked.

Dart went 11 for 17, 1 TD, 0 INTs against the back ups.

Mbow looked good in 1 v 1s, did not practice with the 1st unit.

Run game looked decent.

Theo Johnson is clearly TE1.

JMS is a liability :noway:

Defense got after it. Burns was dominant. Dexter Lawrence was a monster. Jets got nothing down field on 11 v 11 drills.

Neither offense looked good today overall. Not surprising.

I'm bored, obviously.

This has to be hyperbole only because there can only be some much he could have shown in such short time and it aint that much. Micah has proven to be dominate against the big boys for multiple years.

I would respect this comment maybe after a couple of weeks in the regular season, but not now.

Like who is this dude?

He does NFL draft scouting for a pretty major publication.

And yes preseason and joint practices are one thing...games are another so yes don't want to jump the gun. Its seems though from all accounts he just looks different out there.

I love to hear it, but I'm not buying it just yet. Mainly because Micah is just bigger.

I'd have to see Abdul against some real O Lines who have film on him before that kind of claim can be made.

I can attest that the Jets content creators and beatwriters have shown a lot of love for Abdul Carter too. He apparently cooked AVT on a play, and that's one of our most reliable OL pieces for years now.

One of the content creators said he expects the Giants to have the best D-Line in the NFL this season.

I'm waiting for some recaps of today. All I've seen is a highlight of our rookie WR Arian Smith making a crazy grab.

I'm sure some of it is for clicks (which social media has become).

But the Jets have a couple pretty good tackles and overall a pretty good offensive line on the interior (AVT)) and most reports are the giants defensive front dominated them.
