If Raja doesn't go to jail for that assault, it's a major failure of our judicial system. Wrestlers are strong but they're not real fighters. Sure, they could lift and slam someone, but they're not necesarily able to fight the way MMA fighters can. For any professional boxer or fighter to attack a civilian without adequate provocation is like a regular person using a weapon. There's no way Raja didn't know this. What he did is criminal and a stain on his sport.

Also, I wonder if this has any effect on pro wrestling fans -- some of them believed that wrestlers are great fighters. But if they''re into the fantasy of wrestling, then maybe reality isn't a big issue and they'll keep on watching and believing.

He should go to jail and it sure don't do nuthin for race relations, even if it wasn't connected.

For the people that connect bad actions to race, yeah it will reinforce what they already believe. Now if those people choose to act on those reinforced beliefs...that's when it becomes a problem.
