This is a very likely outcome but, I saw good things yesterday that make me ok with watching another game. It's more about hanging with the kids and enjoying Sundays together. It's been years since I even enjoyed watching a game at all. This was a positive game IMO. Sucks we lost. Sucks more we lost to Aaron Rodgers but, we played well enough to watch again.

Unfortunately ...I have to work next Sunday!!! GO FIGURE!!

I know better. Wake me up after they win 8 games, then I'll watch.

I don't blame you. I'm not emotionally invested in the team at all.

Just keep your eye on them and give them a chance.

Week 1 was what I expected as a person who's watched every one of Fields' NFL games and saw a lot of Detroit Lions football.

The top end talent on the Jets roster is young and elite in premium positions. This won't be a long turnaround.

Clearly you are unfamiliar with the NY Jets history.

I'm intrigued and I was impressed with the team. First time in years. After almost 50 years of watching this team I was done. I'll check back in until if/when it goes sideways again. Hopefully it improves. I just won't invest anything into it other than making wings and drinking beers with my kid and her man. If they ruin that... We'll just change the channel eat and drink anyway.

AG just came from the only place outside of Cleveland that was more cursed than our respective franchises and while my Bears hired the brains of the Lions, the Jets hired somebody who has followed the Lions rebuild playbook to a tee. I am a fan of Fields - but I am equally a fan of how that roster is constructed and the idea of giving Justin time & support to develop.

I'm there with my Bears currently but your off-season got my ears to perk up a bit.

Fashanu, Membu, Quinnen, Wilson, Hall, Sauce, Johnson, McDonald + Fields with an actual OL and coach that believes in him. I'm telling you - Fields in 2022 was the most electric player that Chicago has had since MVP Derrick Rose. His development was slow because Chicago is an absolute dumpster fire but this dude is somebody who's worth keeping an eye on.

Woody Johnson, the owner of the Jets, could f*ck up a wet dream.

I give Glenn\Mougey 3 years, probably 15 total wins, and a new coach/GM coming in to do the same.

Read on Twitter

The Lions and Bears really disappointed week 1, Engstrand might be legit.

Saw on Twitter as well Ed Oliver is in a walking boot. Jets might run for 300 yards.

Return to New York Knicks
