Eddie's post-game comments: no one with their own agenda or selfish play; and being the focal point of what's going on...

This seems like a shot at Zach. If so, isn't it selfish and agenda-driven to not play up to your potential because the team brought in another guy who can do pretty much what you do?

Impressing matters in my eyes too as if you play a superior team to us this way, your not gonna win.

i guess boston doesnt have a chance this year either...

all that matters is the W. the spurs have no need to impress anyone. its championship or bust. and i dont think the spurs are worried about the knicks standing in their way come june. an injured spurs took the night off against an inferior team and still won. wheres the negative there?

He also took a veiled shot at Randolph. Hey, if he can play like this if he gets his shots, I'm fine with letting him get his shots.

Oh please...just by what youre saying it matters. The Spurs took the night off? I thought championship teams don't take nights off? That's what makes the championship teams. Just accept the Knicks played hard for once and the Spurs had problems containing some of the Knicks. If you are as humble as you are portraying your team, you should have no problem with that.

Kind of sad that Curry takes shots at Randolph while Randolph talks of Curry and him being friends.

That fat arse but play this way from now on if he's going talk like that. What an ass . We all know he will score but probably next game have like 2 boards again. What a baby too.

Curry's has been the focal point of the offense for that past 2 weeks except for the game he came off the bench... and even then the moment he came in, he became the focus.

The difference tonight he played hard on both ends, as if to say I will do this as long as you don't play Zach.

who said championship teams dont take nights off? the spurs have been playing the regular season at half speed for a couple of years now. championship teams dont take nights off when it matters, ie playoffs.

as for the knicks playing hard, you bet your ass they did. that was one of the better outings intensity wise ive seen out of them. they gave the spurs everything they could handle, and without arguably their best player.

but what does any of that have to do with the initial point i took issue with (if the spurs cant blow-out the knicks, they dont have a chance come post season)?

This game was just another loss. It takes at least 5 games of the same intensity in order for any of us to start taking this group, especially Eddy Curry , seriously

stupid internet went out... now it's too late to make my full angry comment about how Isiah's only clutch time plan is still to give crawford the ball and let him freelance and hope he makes the shot.

I missed the one game they played hard for 47 minutes of the game.
It's hard being a Knicks fan...

Goodness, if Curry and the team can bottle their effort in this game and play that way for the majority of the season, I'd be very happy...

the Knicks outplayed us..

but the best teams find ways to win, and the bad teams find ways to lose..nothing specific, but that's just how sports work..

You can laugh but the Knicks are this bad that teams who are viewed highly should be destroying them.

LOL stupidity..every team gets outplayed by a bad team once in a while..they still got the win..

Dallas beat Miami by 5 tonight, without WADE AND SHAQ..so I guess Dallas sucks now..

fans of bad teams say the cutest things..

Great game, Curry was excellent and too bad that Crawford had that blunder with 30 seconds to go.

Spurs (aside from 04-05, when Duncan went out before the playoffs) always take it up a notch in the 2nd hallf of the season, into the playoffs. Right around the all-star break.

Spurs are a contender for the title regardless if or how they beat the Knicks. Even if they actually lost the next meeting at MSG - the Spurs are still a legit contender for the title.

The Spurs like to peak deep in the playoffs - not in the regular season. They do it because they can.
