box cutter to the face

edit. Everybody is moving out to PA. how is it out there?

Well yeah, Getting slashed. Ear 2 Ear was the main thing though.

edit. well, the part I'm at is alright, A little too nosy of a neighborhood for my liking. Quiet, boring. Makes you miss NY a bit if you've been there all your life, but it's pretty nice out here.

I think Redick is just happy he's not in college anymore, the abuse this man got from other college teams wasn't right. :o

You are correct. I like Reddic and to a lesser degree Arroyo... but we have no use for those guys.

That's besides teh point.

Arroyo is an expiring deal, we can cut him immediately. I am willing to take a chance on Reddick. He is still in his rookie deal, if he doesnt work out, we only gave JJ2 and Morris, no biggie.

How the hell do you trade 2 bigs for 2 smalls who are not working out on their current team and we have tons of smalls who are not getting enough playing time?

Arroyo can run the point very smoothly when given the opportunity. He would also bring in a lot more Puerto Ricans to the games. People complain about Redick defensively but is he any worse than the guards we have on our team?

I can't stand whenever someone thinks they could offer Jared Jeffries for a combo of Arroyo and Redick. It just shows me a lack of knowledge of players outside the Knicks and how the NBA business is supposed to work in general.

STOP the nonsense about bringing more Puerto Ricans to the stadium. We don't need Arroyo. We have 2 PGs not getting enough minutes: Nate and Mardy.

Reddick is a good shooter but he is an undersized SG who cannot defend, and we need a true SG with size -- someone like Jason Richardson, Bonzi Wells or Jerry Stackhouse.

Thanks I appreciate that was directed at me.

The point, my knowledgeable man, is that they know they are close to being contenders. Jeffries brings a mean streak. Remember, Van Gundy's main complain is they are soft. Jeffries' best memory is of him running after Carmela.

It is also about team need. Arroyo and Reddick are not useful to the Magic. Would they take a long term contract for someone that could help them? Of course they would. Jeffries is someone that can help when you are setting your sights on Boston, Cavs and Detroit and you already have scorers on your team.

So there you go smart guy.

only trade i'd do is:

NYK: Mardy Collins, Jamal
ORL: Keyon Dooling, JJ, Aroyo

then i would do
NYK: Randolph, Jones
CLE: Ira Newble, Donyell Marshall, Eric snow

1 expiring, and 2 guys with 1 yr to go.

Arroyo is an erratic PG that has driven each of the coaches he's had to not trust him with the ball and despite how poorly the Knicks are playing the Garden is still packed every night so their really is no need to bring people in (Puerto Ricans included).
