Realistic Trade, Dump Zach, Get Ron Ron

Post#1 » by Big Chan » Sun Jan 6, 2008 12:00 am

Pat Riley needs to shake things up, and Sacramento would like to get somethign of value for Artest than just letting him expire. So how about this.

Knicks Trade:

Zach Randolph
Nathaniel Robinson

Knicks Recieve:

Ron Artest
Jason Williams

Heat Trade:

Udonis Haslem
Jason Williams

Heat Recieve:

Zach Randolph

Kings Trade:

Ron Artest

Kings Recieve:

Udonis Haslem
Nate Robinson

I think that is a fair trade for all teams, with us getting the best player involved, but his value drops dramatically because he can opt out at the end of the season.

Haslem is relatively cheap and can man the 4 for Sacramento. They can then dump bibby and even miller and start over.

Miami upgrades their offense while losing their dirty work player, but it may be just what miami needs.

What do you guys think?

I think the Heat would actually rather have Haslem than Randolph.

If we dump Z Id do it directly with SAC for a package of Ron & Miller.

Miller would be an excellent center and we could then move Curry to the 4.

Z ,nate ,balkman & jones for Ron & Brad Miller

Not sure SAC does this though even though they get to dump Miller's contract

Exactly why the Kings decline. Kings want nothing to do with Zach Randolph.

Randolph for Artest

Post#6 » by manute_bol112 » Sun Jan 6, 2008 1:08 am

What about Zach Randolph and Renaldo Balkman for Ron Artest and Mikki Moore?
Moore and Lee could share eqaul playing time at the power forward position.
You keep your rebounding proved by Zach with Lee, and you improve defensively as well.

I think Artest will hurt this team. He's a known cancer, he's a distraction with his off court antics, he's talked about how he should be the primary option on offense, I don't think it would be a good idea to trade for him. I have no idea why so many Knick fans think it would be. JO probably demanded that artest be traded from indiana for a good reason. And he's available now for a reason.

This is a good trade. It really depends on whether or not the Heat want Randolph over Haslem, if they do I think its a good trade.

Build around the draft pick, Artest, and Lee, and I think that's a good start.

I would think that team is playoff bound Play's Defense tries hard all you need is.

A Shotblocking Center off the Bench

Shooters that Can pass and Run And throw in Wilson Chandler and you have a nice team.

Rose Play's Lockdown D, Marbury can lock down 85 Percent of All** SG's **, Artest , Zach, Lee..

I mean Artest and Zach get the shots they want Marbury and Rose create them and Lee cleans it up.

get frekin zach out of here, and get a running and defensive center. No reason to play that damn half court game if we're just gonna get killed by a zone because we can't shoot. Just run, make sure they can't set their defense. Maybe try to turn Zach into a shot blocker like Sean Williams+expirings or something. I can deal with that.

Randolph for Artest and fillers?

Post#16 » by knicks210 » Sun Jan 6, 2008 4:25 am

Screw Randolph. Trade him for Ron Ron and fillers. New lineup:

PG- MARBURY
SG- CRAWFORD
SF- ARTEST
PF- LEE
C- CURRY

How about that? Way more balanced. I love it.

Zach is a black hole. He never passes the ball. We got rebounding from Lee and Artest.

Artest Likes to shoot and thinks he is a Kobe type player.

With Curry it will violate his ego

With Zach he doesn't byatch and go into his shell he battles for those points regardless.

We just need Rose and Marbury to pass them the ball and Lee who need no shots.
