Seeing it being repeated by those couple people were annoying. Anyways the bigger picture is the talks for trading for Kyrie is dead.

he knows the right time to trade players and collect assets for sure. he's smartly opportunistic. he was even right about now being the time to trade i.t. i think he could have gotten away with trading a lesser pick though. or even 2 future boston picks instead of the nets pick. when you have a player like irving and it's known he wants out, it's hard to even get good value. somehow the cavs did much better then they should have. that's on him.

It's almost like he said, "I've got all this money in the bank, so why not spend a ton more than I should? Steve Mills did it, and now he's President of the Knicks."

Cleveland killed it. Even ignoring the situation they were in they got great value. I wonder if Ainge was finally starting to feel the pressure of being so stingy with his precious assets. Big mistake, imo. Kyrie is not enough of an upgrade over IT to risk losing a possible top 3 pick next year.
