Enes Kanter says Joakim Noah has been helping him on the defensive end. "He's always talking to me. He actually told me a week ago that, ‘I want you to take the next step. I want you to get to the next level defensively.' And he's been there for me, helping me a lot defensively, talking to me on the court, off the court. He's been really trying to help me. And he's one of the most respected guys in the NBA. He's got 11 years in the league. He knows a lot. He's got a lot of experience so I can really use his help." Kanter is a strong offensive player but has been subpar on the defensive end thus far in his career. Noah, who is suspended for the first 12 games of the season, has said that he hopes to help younger bigs on the Knicks roster.

Wanting to tank from the season opener is bizarre, it means you'll have a high draft pick that may or may not be good but it for sure means your best players aren't very good...and we need KP to be great! If it looks like a lost cause near the break sure get the best pick you can but the best scenario is that the players we have play really well and you have something to build on. The best thing about sports is watching teams develop and surpass expectations, can't even imagine being a fan and wanting us to lose tomorrow lol.

I just hope no one gets injured, what with everyone going down lately. That is a win if we get through in 1 piece.

Melo goes off, hits the daggers and gets to celebrate on the Knicks, it's the most Knicksy way it goes.

...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

It would be so sweet to stick it up Melo's ass tonight.

I can't help but be excited for tomorrow night. The Knicks are in my blood. I'm infected.

Sad!

The excitement will dissipate in the first 5 minutes.
