I miss my man already. Beas is interviewed in this article about the upcoming Lakers season and how his game will mesh with his new teammates. (I know many of you compared him to Melo in their style of play - which I completely disagreed with - but Melo never spoke like this about meshing with his teammates, spreading the floor, and playing the right way.) The Lakers will be an interesting team to watch, for sure.

Yeah, no way Beas lets them miss the postseason

I don't think I've ever wanted a prospect to fail as much as MPJ...even though I like Denver. The kid's ego is insane, and not in a fun super-cool-Beas kind of way.
"Right now, I’m a little, I’m a mix of Giannis and KD. You know, I like going to the hole a little more than KD does, I like bumping into people a little more physical than KD. But I also, you know I like to shoot the ball more than Giannis. So that’s what I like to compare myself to. Then also Tracy McGrady. I get compared to him a lot and I like that one a lot too. You know, those are three amazing players. So it doesn’t feel bad to be in the same conversation as them."

Michael Porter Jr is in NO POSITION to say anything about any NBA player including Greg Oden as he is rehabbing from yet, ANOTHER surgery.
This kid is going to be so fragile, he'll be ONE hard foul away from being done for the season. His only hope is to be the Nugget's SG.
Back injuries are no joke. They NEVER heal right.

The 1999-2000 Toronto Raptors had Vince Carter, T-Mac, and Camby...and couldn't add the necessary pieces to take the Raptors to the NBA Finals.

Camby was on your Knicks that season he sued Raptors coach Butch Carter during the first round of the playoffs.
He was one of the main reasons you guys made the finals the year before in the lockout season.

This was a fascinating article. Beas comes across as being much more in tune with things than Melo was. But did the editing involved in this article make Beas seem so articulate, or does he suddenly speak that way? That's not how the Beas I know talked.

All that does, cement Ainge's decision to trade Isaiah Thomas to the Cavs as the right way to go. Why? Well Ainge KNEW damn well, I-4 was an "Amare contract" in the making if he kept/re-signed him.
Anytime an NBA player c/o a city...I re-watch Hoop Dreams about all these desperate ballers who just want a shot at the Bigs. IF only sports rewarded more often merit & hustle than freakish talent.
I heard Stan Van Gundy is coaching the Pistol Shrimps.

Melo to come off bench. I think this is a solid move.

hopefully that means houston got a trade lined up for another defensive wing like bazemore. they would not miss a beat losing ariza
CP3
Harden
Bazemore
Tucker
Capela
Melo + Gordon could be some some pretty potent offense off the bench
It’s like when lil bitches make subliminal records, if it ain’t directed directly at me, I don’t respect it

yep. if they dont make any moves and the roster is the same then they are better off starting melo. unless james ennis magically has a breakout year lol
CP3
Harden
Tucker
Melo
Capela
i think its still a good lineup. melo will feast on open looks. hopefully he can hit them lol
