Imagine missing the playoffs for 14 of the last 18 years, and not having a single good draft pick to show for it.

Yikes.

The Knicks are a disgrace.

But KD is supposed to fix it....

Thunder are not a bad team. Yes the west is tough but they would be better with better coaching. Billy Donovan is terrible yet we complain about Fiz. Put a real NBA coach around Russ, PG, and SA and that team would perform better.

It’s the roster construction that’s the issue. Westbrook needs a team like Giannis has in Milwaukee. Floor spacers, shooters and slashers. They only keep repeating the formula that Brooks had with two high usage players and everyone else is a limited role player.

Good to see Damian Lilliard after so many years of experience has learned how to win in the playoffs.

He went to the 2nd round twice in his first 3 years

Did get swept the last 2 years though so it could just be a matchup thing. The west is brutal :dontknow:

That shot still makes me  I swear it - the whole city screamed at once.

I hate that Lillard gets **** on for how far they've been able to get. This is far and away the best team they've had since that one. The year after, Wes got hurt and there were issues surrounding LMA all year regarding his health and free agency. The past few years, they were overachieving. Finally have the horses again. Minus Nurk, unfortunately.

If he can come back healthy and they retain some of the late season acquisitions they have an outside shot next year. More reasons I'm rooting for Durant to come here :-D

Not a bad center depth chart.

i like what jordan was doing with mitch, but i think gortat would be better. he seems he'd be tougher on the guys.

and what i like most about mitch is that he seems to want to get better. a lot of guys come in arrogant, like their **** don't stink. but i bet if you bring in any player who knows more than mitch, he'll learn a lot. gortat would be a great mentor.

Gortat would cost less too.

DJ is gonna get paid again

He's gonna end up like a lot. Get paid by a playoff or contending hopeful, they're gonna go through **** and give up, then DJ will get waived and get the vet min to join the warriors

dj is not getting paid again. they don't really pay centers nowadays unless they're all-stars. he's a role player and he'll be paid like one.

the idea that we must re-sign him to retain KD seems kinda dumb to me. rather spend the mle trying to steal away somebody like danny green.

we desperately need wings who can shoot and defend while not needing the ball.

Luke Walton out here catching a case after signing the big deal with SAC.

https://www.complex.com/sports/2019/04/luke-walton-sexual-assault-lawsuit?utm_campaign=complexmag&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social

Tennant says the incident occurred at a hotel in Santa Monica prior to Walton becoming head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. She alleges that he asked her to meet him to discuss the book that she was working on at the time. Given their business relationship which dates back "several years," Tennant was hoping to have Luke write a foreword.

When Tennant arrived in his room, she claims Walton pinned her to the bed by pressing his hips and legs over her body before forcing kisses on her neck, face, and chest. As she tried to free herself from his grasp while screaming for him to stop, Walton allegedly groped her breasts and groin, as well as rubbing his erection on her leg.

When Walton finally let her go from his clutches, Tennant alleges that he grabbed her from behind and forced his body against her as she made her way towards the door. The alleged ordeal ended with her walking through the door and hearing Walton say "Good to see you."

Sounds like Walton banged her, consensually, but then didn't want to continue the romance. They're discussing the book up in his hotel room. Yeah, okay. FOH.

I think you are optimitic about MLEs signings.

DJ will grab a 10M/year or a 21M/3 y offer. Contenders without Cap Space can offer him the non luxury tax exception (9,5M). We can only offer him the Room Exception (4,7M).

In the General forum, they were discussing if Danny Green can make 10 or 15M/year. We dont have a shot on him.

We will use our MLE in players like Trier (if we cant pick his option), Vonleh, Patrick Berveley, Wes Mathews, Payton, Bazemore, M Morris, Tyreke or Jabari Parker.
