This just makes me embarrassed to be an NBA fan. Thankfully this jackass isn't on the Knicks, but its fans like us that allow insensitive, ignorant morons like Wade to make millions and millions of dollars. It makes me wish I wasn't a basketball fan and I wasn't adding to this idiot's popularity.

Here is the actual quote.... still poor idea to compare something basketball-related to WTC, but it's not as bad as it was thought to be

There must be something about Miami that makes these guys say and do stupid things. In just a little over a week we've seen f***ups from all three guys of varying severities. I get the feeling they'll just keep flapping their gums, flubbing their words, and flexing their egos all season, and next season, and the season after that, etc. win or lose. Let's see which dummy comes out on top... er... bottom.

He has all the money and fame in the world. But I still feel bad for him, i'll never be that insensitive and stupid. There is a line which you do not cross, and Wade just did. Don't care what he meant, you just never say anything like that. Ever!

He really should have used a different choice of words. A lot of other analogies would have also worked just fine. I saw what he was trying to get at, just do it differently.

It was a bad analogy, but the point is we put way more into sports than we do life itself. It's just a game is all the man was saying. You guys need to realize these guys are not Rhodes Scholars, they are simply basketball players....Context fellas, damn. :D

Are these guys that stupid or are they trying to really piss NYC off? First its Lebron with his announcement in the Knicks back yard then he has the cohones walking the streets of NYC shortly after his decision. Now this Wade guy mentioning the WTC. You bet they will have a bulls eye.

The wheelchair makes it easier to keep the shoulder immobilized. And some shoulder dislocations can hurt like hell. My mom dislocated her shoulder and the ambulance took her in a wheelchair too.
