We are 2 games over and have Amar'e, and flexibility, with nice young pieces. I think that things are going okay. We just need to stick to the gameplan. It's the Nets that have nothing going for them.
Plus it's not over. It's up to Melo to walk the walk now.
Woj and SAS have GUARANTEED that I alone can have the movie rights ... I'm gonna use this thread, all 25 parts as the script.

I think so too. Evidence: Because they got the Nets thing done early so they will have time before next Thursday in case Melo says nyet to the Nyets. I just recently thought they might really hold on to him but the way they're rushing for some resolution on the Nets deal makes me think that they want to be sure they have time to trade him somewhere else if Melo rejects NJ.
and they'll get nothing for melo too.
this is a terrible gamble by denver imo. if melo rejects, it's too late in the game to get anymore value from the knicks. the knicks will stand firm and offer nothing. Gallo will likely be off the table.... moz, fields, felton, all off the table. then denver goes from getting gallo + chanlder + pick (bare minimum) to nothing basically.

Re: [Camelo Thread Part 20] - Down to the Wire?
Now Melo is scheduled to meet with Dolan and Prokhorov?
1) Why would Melo meet with the Nets if he wants to be a Knick?
2) Why is Prokhorov meeting with him if he announced that the Nets will no longer go after Carmelo?
So both of these guys flip-flop and the Knicks are yet again stuck at the mercy of a jackass player 6 months after the Lebron thing.
I really hope they give all the power to the teams in the next CBA. These players have gone wild with all the power, and you got 3 franchises handcuffed in all this mess.

NY won't back out without one last push.
This is possibly a futile attempt by Denver to drive up the price.

not one "writer" has confirmed that melo agreed to meet with them, its all assumptions, cause they're all in the same place

Re: [Camelo Thread Part 20] - Down to the Wire?
Next week will see a large influx of dingleberries here saying the Knicks are failures.
What the termites crawling out of the woodwork fail to comprehend is the Knicks HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE 11TH HOUR because of the way Denver has played this.
The Knicks have succeeded in playing this correctly so far regardless of the outcome. But still we have to listen to a bunch of idiocy in the meantime.
Go ahead and panic children and random posters who have nothing else to contribute but wet panties and soggy kleenexes.

Told him basically that all he has to do is say "NO" to NJ and he's home free and that Denver is not going to keep him past the deadline.
Also told him that Love (which he appears to be big on) is about faith and convinction and standing firm, instead of bending and wavering from fear of the unknown.
Smooth...Very well played sir.
Really, the whole money deal that NJ and Den are trying to scare Melo with is so faulty its like;

He's not going to the Nets LOL. They can agree on whatever they want, if Melo doesnt agree it aint happeneing. He knows the Knicks want him, and he knows we are doing everything within reason to get him and create a winning team for him and Amare because it benefits the KNICKS as well as him and Amare!! He's in this situation because he wants to compete, the nets cant offer that.
