alright so it is settled.

Moo will post the rules and discussion tonight and formulate the draft order and teams (randomly)...moo will get first you will see

just kidding.

That gives everyone all saturday to makes trades and consider picks and then we will officially start the draft timer at noon on sunday

just to be clear

first pick will be allowed to be made at 12:00 pm est May 13th.

Btw, guys I remember in old BATs, Mags used to have the Co/Asst.-GMs listed with the team, and what they were able to do, because sometimes they could only negotiate, or make picks, and it was good to have it listed to a person knew what that persons "powers" were.

FYI...ive drafted as high as 9th and as low as 21st i believe and each time have had one of the better teams in each BAT so while it would have been great to draft in the top 3-5 to start it ultimately is about knowing how to put a team together and its the later rounds that usually makes or breaks a team...any idiot can draft the top 3-5 guys first.

haha I think br7knicks picked brandon roy with a top 5 pick, and this was like after he was injured. hard to blame him too much though since it's in his username and everything.

anyhow I told myself I'd ignore this thread until after the playoffs were over for us but by then all the slots were taken I don't mind though, it's time for some new blood to get a chance.

Ok all, I've created a draft pick/trade thread that contains the RULES for this draft. Please go over them carefully (especially those guys who are new to this).

I've added a warning system to this BAT (to help try to keep it clean and running smoothly). It's at the bottom of the 1st post in the other thread.

Any GM that incurs 2 warnings will be RELIEVED of their duties and replaced by either the assistant GM (if there is one) or someone that is on the waiting list.

I can make it 3 warnings...but will leave it up to you guys.

Also how are we going to judge this thing?

Last time we had roughly 10 posters from all across RealGM (other teams boards) help with judging but that got kinda delayed given their expected lack of focus on something going on on a board they don't usually frequent.

We could go with judges only from this board but then there may be some biases for or against GM's in this BAT that could cloud judgment.

SIM's we've tried but it's also been hard to work it out. If someone (NOT a GM) has a way of simming this then great.
