I really don't see how any of you can be mad at Dolan? Dolan was going to match an offer that was going to put him far into the luxury tax and then Lin went and had the offer upped. Do you really want a player on our team who knowingly accepted an offer that he knew would create a HUGE problem for the team his rights are owned by? 3. Plus you don't set out the playoffs when your team could have use you. I'm sure the front office didn't like that. Melo played injured in the playoff last year and had to get surgery right after. That showed his heart and his competitiveness. Mostly all the big stars were injured in the playoffs and they still played. Wade was injured, Bosh was injured. Pierce was injured, Ray Allen was injured, Bynum was injured, etc.

If you really think Lin's unloyal to the Knicks, think about it for 1 second, where's the Knicks loyalty towards Lin when they made the full effort to pursue Nash and made zero initial offer to Lin? Even Chicago put an initial offer 24m/4 years to Asik on the table before he found a bigger offer with Houston but we made zero effort to do that and were busy chasing another PG to replace Lin. Add the rumor about using Lin as a package for CP3 (though pure rumor). Loyalty can go both ways and really rarely exist in a business sports world.

Last I checked Nash without a doubt was better than Lin and would greatly help us as a contender, last I checked Lin was about two days away from being cut, last I checked Lin got injured halfway through playing in the season (yes I know fatigue played a factor). Let's not act like Lin is a all-star that deserves his full & undivided attention. And last I checked we ALLOWED Lin to test out his own free-agent market value so he could get MORE MONEY. As far as that CP3 rumor sh*t goes if you believe that is serious then I got a house to sell you in Idaho.
