This is a deal that would strengthen our future and current roster

Tyson Chandler and Bargnani

For

Eric Gordan and Tyreke Evans

We save New Orleans tons of money with this deal.

We add a legit scoring 2 guard in Gordan and a starting point guard in Evans.

Then follow up trade

JR Smith, Felton & Beno

For

Carl Landry and Jason Thompson

Knicks team

Jason Thompson / Carl Landry / Cole Aldrich
Kenyon Martin / Amare Stoud / Jeremy Tyler
Carmelo Anthony / Iman Shumpert / Ron Artest
Eric Gordan / Tim Hardaway JR / Free Agent
Tyreke Evans / Pablo Prigioni / Toure Murry

That is now a complete team and can compete with anyone

Knicks gets:
Asik/Perkins (27 year old center that will be a top 5 rebounder to go with MeloMax)

Houston gets:
Shumpert/Nick Collison OKC's 2014 1st round pick

OKC gets:
Tyson Chandler

I think Phoenix(Dragic) or Boston(Rondo) would want more, like shump, Lamb, okc2014 1st and more picks
and I'm not sure if OKC wants Tyson enough to give up Lamb or Reggie Jackson for that matter.

Tyson can be a top top player when he has his health and head screwed on right. Unfortunately these days we don't often see that Chandler. He gets set off course so easily. Shame. Cuz he was beasting very early in the season before that leg injury, he was due for an all star DPOY type of year again. I say trade him now while his value is still very high.

I think it has to do more with Tyson already having a ring and us being 19-28. He just doesn't give a damn anymore.

He got a ring and his big payday. Honestly, at that point I might not care as much either.

Honestly most people are wired in such a way that they would take their foot off the gas after accomplishing as much as he has. It can very well be that at this point in his life Tyson is more interested in art than basketball.

Or maybe after winning a ring, that's all he cares about anymore and he sees this team is hopeless.

this is probably the case. But I still like Tyson. the only reason I want to trade him is b/c he's 31 and don't believe he'll be able to play with MeloMax in 2 years. If he was 29 I would just be interested in a better than average backup.

I e never been in any position to win multiple trophies of any kind (but i am nyc park champion in my own head) but i dont buy this he got a ring so its okay to stop trying as hard. Maybe im ultra competitive or something, but i believe in winning as many rings as possible. When u done trying to win than retire.

It's different with bigs. A lot of times they don't necessarily like basketball but do it because they are tall. Many times they felt kind of forced to do it by family and friends.

You'll do anything to take a shot at the team. Even go against logic. So the guy cares about winning so much that he'll... give up on his team because he doesn't think they can win a ring? Not smart.

Well if that is indeed the case, even more reason to trade him. I can't recall the last BIG or MARQUEE game that he made me say, damn Chandler is beasting! Turning out to be just an overrated player with an oversized opinion of himself. His time here in NYC has run it's course.
