We should. We can lock it after a win and unlock it after a loss. Basically a FREE TANK thread.

As story indicates, idea of Marc Gasol taking big man baton from Duncan is something Spurs would not complain about - http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nb ... /18176469/

this is why wins and losses do matter this year

Well the Spurs will win more than we do this year. But in the end, I don't think your record matters too much in free agency. Being horrible over a few years may have taken us out of the LeBron running. But that's LeBron, coming off his playoff failure.

I think a guy like Gasol will weigh money, city, cast. The Spurs will still have Parker and some pieces, but hopefully Melo evens that out. He won't want San Anton over NYC as a city. We got a shot.

You are forgetting about a kid named Kawai Leonard --- who would you rather play with if Gasol....Melo or Leonard? I take Leonard but hopefully Marc doesn't have same opinion.

Maybe but that won't really be changed by our record. I don't completely discount what sham is saying -- you want to build something. But on the other hand, a lottery pick gives you another big asset. You could swap a high pick for a guy at the level of a Klay Thompson.

Klay, Melo, Gasol -- the good thing is that in basketball just three top players can give you a big edge. That kind of team would win plenty of games.

Ehh it depends on matchup.

I like Larkin but you think he's better than Prigs? Definitely quicker but I think that's all.

Nope not at all but your asking for trouble putting Prigs up against certain guards. Not only is it a bad matchup for him he might not make it to the end of the game without hurting himself.

Berman doesn't sound very knowledgeable of anatomy in his post, but there are 2 different muscles which makes up the human calf. So technically it is possible to strain one side or one muscle of the calf, then the other.

Regardless, Calderon is about as soft as his Euro-buddy Bargnani and I have little faith we will see much of either of them this season.
