We better see the all Euro lineup and see if that's the mix we have been looking for. Chemistry is important.

Does BJ's experience in Italy qualify him to be in the Euro lineup? Because I do not want Sasha any near the court.

Give credit where credit is due. Sasha started the defensive momentum.

. KP is hitting his stride and a lot of it is the PG's knowing how to find him.

. The team started off awkward as hell but settled in and played good ball and then really good ball even when the shots weren't falling in the third, they were getting great looks.

. Melo got a mismatch and poured it on, took the game back from down 9 and took the Nets soul with him.

. Second half defense was impressive, offense was pretty, but I don't want to get too high off a win against this wack opponent.

. Kuz and Willy are fun to watch out there and I think they're making a case for the rotation. Too much stagnation from the current second unit even if they play better defense. Kuz and Willy move, pass and can score; plus they have shown some defensive growth especially Willy...he had a good game on both ends.

.Lance got benched; KOQ got benched; and I doubt anyone is mad about those decisions. Holiday, I like his game but he was pretty invisible.

. Courtney Lee is lookin' like he fits this crew like a glove. He can score in motion, catch and shoot and plays enthusiastic defense.

. Cool moment of the game; Kuz hit Booker with a step back three pointer by faking a drive and Melo said something to him on the way down that left dude smiling. Dad Melo out there.

. BJ was AWFUL in the first half. Dribbled off his foot, got down on himself and committed more TO's while looking upset. Second half, he kept at it passing though and he was brilliant as a playmaker. Props!

. Lastly, shout out to Hornacek's coaching decisions. He benched the right guys and I'm wondering if he threw in the fresh legs because he knew the Nets would tire out on night two. Either way, the decision paid dividends and there was even better motion on defense despite a slow start on that end.

O'Quinn and Lance really shouldn't play at all. O'Quinn perhaps depending on the matchup. They're third-string quality type players.

Yeah I think the case has already been made, the difference in our play was so stark with Will + KUZ versus LT and KOQ. Van Gundy said he'd be surprised if Willy hasn't already won the backup center role afterhis performance tonight... Bench doesn't look so bad when we play the right combos.

PS Thanks BJ for showing the starters on the bench how to play. Passion, energy, unselfishness...

Unless you're playing the 1st tier teams like the Warriors, Cavs and Spurs, there's not much that separates all the other teams in the middle.

When you play O'Quinn and Lance, you're giving away points to the other team due to their bonehead plays on both sides of the floor.

KP looking like he might have a chance at the All-Star game. Effortlessly dropping 20 PPG now.

He does get winded easily due to the anemia, but I think he's doing a good job balancing his energy between defense and more involvement on offense.

It strange though, when he plays with Willy and BJ his motor looks nonstop...maybe its because he doesn't have to work as hard offensively.

I would work nonstop if I knew I was the #1 option with a unit too lol

Noah needs to put out to pasture. He just doesn't do much out there other than look to get rid of the ball once he gets it. Doesn't even box out.

Willy's time will come but Noah is our leader. I'm sure Willy will be starting by his 3rd year here. For now we need someone to score off the bench, last year when KP, Afflalo and Melo all sat down we got killed. We need willy off the bench.

I don't mind him coming off the bench for NOW if he is stealing significant minutes from Noah. Willy is the Knicks best center and the best players at every position should be starting and getting the most minutes. Phil **** up by signing Noah to that contract. If I'm wrong, then who the **** would take Noah in a trade as of now?

I think if we can keep his minutes down Noah will find ways to contribute consistently over the long haul. We've already seen what he can do versus Memphis, the sky isnt falling just yet.

agreed. besides do you really want to mess up the chemistry that we have with Willy and Jennings? It's like they can read each-others minds.

i was about to post that he's been scoring over 20 a game without trying. There was a stat that he was 5th on the team with touches and he has 19 ppg. Wait till he's 1,2 on the team shooting the ball, he'll be in the 20's every night
