Most certainly Phoenix will want a first round pick for Bledsoe. Most certainly we should not trade a pick or a young player for Bledsoe.

If bledsoe doesn't want to be there he sure as hell doesn't want to be here either so may as well just put that idea aside

yeah but would he love it?
he doesn't want to grow with josh jackson and booker apparently

last thing i'd want is to bring in another disgruntled player

though he is only under contract for the rest of this year and next which is the perfect timeline

At the very least, he'd give us an actual starting point guard for the young guys to play with, which is more useful than is often mentioned when it comes to player development.

I've heard this before

"another disgruntled player"

who is a disgruntled player on this squad?
Lee? Willy?

We dont have any that matter
Willy just wants to play and Lee is a quality teammate who doesn't want to be stuck in a rebuild

Bledstoe, Im guessing, would be happy to be part of a team moving the way we are and playing in this city for these fans

its not rebuilding in Phx

I know this board has been very high on KJ McDaniels before

I'm surprised he was waived by the cRaptors

anyone here interested in what he could do for us?
I remember him being a solid defender, no?

Yeah seems to have not gotten a really a fair share of playing time after cashing in with the Sixers. Looks like the emergence of OG Anunoboy made him expendable. Wouldn't mind taking a shot on him and cutting Jack.

a trade with the pelicans is beginning to make more and more sense. They need a player like Lee (starting 3/D) and KOQ (they don't have any backup bigs).

Anyone who wants Bledsoe here should be immediately banned. You want to ruin the tank for a player who is not a difference maker? He might get you a win or 2 more to screw us again and go from top 5 to top 10. GTFO.

The whole "they have nothing to offer in return" sort of sucks though

Yeah I'm shocked that they haven't done it yet. It would be interesting to see the Pellies have a mixture of a really small backcourt and humongous frontcourt in today's NBA.

Hello Chicago high 2nd rounder.

KOQ, Lee, Chicago 2nd rounder (probably pick # 33 or 34 in the draft) for Bledsoe.

Bledsoe is a combo-ish enough as a guard he can play on or off the ball, not unlike how Frank is supposed to profile.
He turns 28 in December with 2 more years on his deal after this one.
No money added past CLee's deal that was already on the books - or not a significant amount

Downsides:
He can be injury prone
Losing the high 2nd rounder.

It would be great to not lose the high 2nd rounder, but probably not happening without it

Fair point.

He'd be a good example for the sort of player Frank can aspire too, but in a taller version - combo-ish PG.
