Probably nervous if they stay at the 7th seed and Celtics catch up to number 2.

I feel bad for DRose.

Pistons were in striking range for a playoff spot but decisions to unload Drummond and Reggie Jackson brings them toward the opposite direction.

How is it that whenever a coach leaves JB Bickerstaff is there?

He's probably next.

Most likely to the Lakers, I bet.

I hope he gets bought out and plays for a contender

Doesnt sound good for Kyrie. Shoulders can take a long time to heal and are very risky to aggregate.

Looks like Kyrie tried to pull a Carmelo by trying to play in the all-star game then get season-ending surgery soon after, but he didn't get the votes.

Detroit in the grand scheme of things has plenty of cap space next year and only owe Rose 7.6 million. They have no incentive buy him out, even if he requests it. It would be much more in their interest to trade him in the offseason if they'd like him gone.

Man if we had signed Kyrie and ended up getting the season from him that Nets are getting, we'd be getting double roasted. So far since it's the Nets, it's crickets. As many said, his bodies not holding up. As bad as this seasons been, we definitely dodged a bullet.... well, 2 bullets.

Yeah, just saw this news and have to say as much as I wanted nothing to do with Kyrie, I feel pretty strongly our current season is still preferable to having him and KD.

I know we suck and a hundred things still need to go right, but this is the right time to have very few future commitments, lots of picks and considerable cap flexibility. If KD & Kyrie had come here, it would have been an epic disaster with very little wiggle room left to work with.

At least Rose has a fairly clean slate to work with. He might bomb, but the Nets are screwed in ways the Knicks are not.

And Kyrie is a mess. The hate him and KD would have gotten as Knicks would have been worse than the Red Wedding, so count our blessings.
