Meh i'll still take IQ over Maxey. Maxey is getting 35 minutes a game and started almost every game this season. What if roles were reversed and IQ got those minutes and Maxey was coming off the bench? Maxey is efficient but his per 36 numbers aint that special. Just give IQ more time and start him.

The thing is that nobody knows how good IQ can be. Bc Maxey wad placed in a much better situation he progressed fast than IQ has. Knicks fans wanted so badly to declare IQ a bust makes no **** sense. As if young talent cant emerge of be legit in this franchise.

Well **** that narrative bc we have tons of young talent on this team that is just waiting to silence the critics. RJ, Obi, Grimes, IQ, Mitch who we hopefully re-sign. Hope for some more luck in the lottery.

Well said. Maxey is very good at what he does, Monta Ellis/Tony Parker 2.0. Easy to see why people would put him over IQ. But for this team , if IQ's post allstar game play is legit, he's the better fit for this team. As a PG when I see him dishing out double digit assists while unlocking our offense I think his potential is right there with Maxey and for us he's the better fit overall.

If IQ is legit we dont have to shell out assets for someone like Brunson (and I like Brunson), we don't have to run out and give up the farm for Donovan Mitchell. IQ would allow us to do what we need to do...be patient and build this team properly.
