I don’t buy this because he got a contract due

Lol let them have Herro and Max Strus. Tremendous prospects over Grimes, Obi, Deuce, & Cam or IQ. With their limited picks.

Or let him go to Orlando to be on a worse team. One of the worst in the league. I’m sure the Magic will be desperate to offer Cole, Suggs, Wendell & 10 picks. Have fun. Donovan and Banchero. Enjoy

Guess what that draft got them

Now your turn, show me all the teams who built contenders off trades like this where they didn't already have a superstar on the team. Cause, I just saw the one in Brooklyn implode, and they had KD and Kyrie on their squad when they made the "you just have to" trade.

Oh you mean the bucks team that pushed to make the 8th seed, yes I’m sure you’d have supported that!

Did they make it Rob?

Yes. They got swept in the first round.

Here's how it is.

Knicks aren't rebuilding exactly how I want it, so it's all wrong.

Which was more beneficial Rob, the sweep, or the guy they got going 38-44?

Got to have a top notch duo, more important than role players, who are easy to get.

Why shouldn't they?

At least, that's how it's been explained to me.

If they want RJ then they can go f*ck themselves. Any and all leaks are coming from Utah, so of course these are the kind of rumors we're gonna head. Leon keeps a tight lid on things

While everyone beats down the door for Fournier, Rose, in a trade.
Note I didn't mention any of the youth, as we have to keep them all, for they are awesome.

If we ran the team as is, benched Fournier and got rid of Randle I guarantee you the fans would be happy. They finally traded a bulk of the vets and Thibs is now forced to create a rotation of the players we’ve been begging to see all season.

They'd be happy for one year, then b*tch because the team isn't very good

This is the same fanbase that chanted Enes Kanter at the Garden. Show any type of effort and they’ll love you here.

I actually now officially don't give a sh*t.

Trade RJ, trade Obi, trade anyone, trade no one, win 35 games, Brunson can blow out his knee. Really, who truly gives a sh*t?

Then he wore out his welcome and everyone got sick of him and couldn't wait for him to get lost.

They don’t want RJ, sometimes people make it more complicated than it is, remember Ainge’s goal, lose, picks and clear as much cap space, what value is it to have RJ to have to decide by October if he’s worthy of a max

The Jazz are walking around with their shopping cart right now, and they'll pick up assets if they're good buys. They're interested in Colin Sexton, for example. But neither Herro nor Barrett with their pending extensions are that appealing. The Jazz also kicked the tires on Ayton, but weren't going to pay him as much as Indiana offered.

No way in hell do the jazz want anything to do with RJ Blocked by the rim. Danny Ainge's third wife personally told me that is what Danny said. With RJ it's the kids party game: pass the parcel .. no one wants to be left holding it when the buzzer (extension time) sounds.

Now, that's completely independent of whether you are a Chanel newly saved RJ-hator or a still hanging on RJlieber. No team wants him. Just that the Knicks FO have pr difficulties admitting how much they want to dump him.

I think the deal will end up being Toppin, Grimes, Fournier and 5+ FRPs.

yeah as much as I love Obi, I feel like Knicks will get Pashcall as his replacement. I believe he is CAA as well and it'll keep Spida happy

So ill accept Obi Grimes and Fournier. Most Knicks fans want to get rid of Evan anyways.

Put some respect on Brunson's name, adding him alone shouldnt just be one more win than Alec Burks at pg

They can gave RJ and Obi.
Don't care.

Or, Knicks can not trade for Mitchell, never get anyone, win more of less than 36 games for 10 years, never pick higher that 14th.
Don't care.

It was beneficial because had they tanked like you want they wouldn’t have been in the position to select 15th for Giannis, they would have got Anthony Bennett, they did the opposite of what you want to do and made the playoff for the culcha and relied on scouts to make smart decisions and then did the exact opposite again by doing the “you just have to” trade with Jrue. I’m just not sure how bringing up the bucks model supports what you want to do (tanking)

Herro got exposed in the post season too. He is a scorer that can’t defend. And it’s not like he’s capable of defending. He is straight up targeted. The most he will get them is a first round pick so congrats Jazz you’ll get 3 firsts.
