Thibs gets credit for what exactly?

Randle has had sone great games while being here. It's always been about the overall impact and his shyt attitude. He shows up against weaker opponents then crumbles vs star players. He will get his knob slobbed by the typical flip floppers after this game and then they will disappear when he plays like shyt. As usual. Same with the RJ hate...which is usually the same people. They run and hide when he has good games every time.

Your Grimes and Mitch takes have been terrible from day one. Just take the Ls and move on. No need to deflect because Randle had a good game. It doesn't erase your poor takes on both of those players.

Don’t hot take me either .
You can’t give credit where it’s due and a
mid team
Which is overrating at this point
Beat 2 highly seeded teams b2b
And now you are ‘give Thibs credit for what’
Yeah I get you thib haters don’t want to hear that , all you want is tear down team.

So
If anyone is deflecting it’s you.
Could care less what you think about my player opinions .
You yourself were in here trashing Mitch worse than me when he was getting outproduced and playing less minutes than his backup.

So that’s really hypocritical .

Yoi are truly a pathetic lying sack of shyt. FOH with this BS post. Thibs FINALLY plays the best defenders on the team and suddenly the defense looks better. He gets credit for wasting all of this time on players like Fournier?

He plays the lineups we all wanted to see when the team was playing horrible and he should get vresit for finally figuring it out?

I have NEVER said anything about Mitch worse than you. My only issue with him is his lack of offensive versatility that keeps him in the paint most of the time. While Thibs had Julius going spin cycle into the lane running the offense like a bum all year. Now we have a PG and all of that has changed.

You don't have to care about my opinion of your player takes. IDGAF about you at all. You're just wrong and always have been.

Yup you were talking trash about how garbage Mitch was so I left you alone.
Now you are being a fuggazy flip flopper that can’t even have a normal discussion .

With your hot take 2 games asz,
You weren’t saying shyt when team was about to get butt checked by DM and go 4 games under but now acting tough.

Guess what I’m not buying it you random posting drunkard .
Don’t you got some cheese to talk about ?

Great game by Randle (even if he was getting into the habit to holding on to the ball too much, particularly with a much better playmaker, Brunson, on the court at the same time, a tendency that will eventually blow up in his face). When Julius is hitting the three, however, it covers for a multiple of other issues.

Brilliant game by Grimes, who is demonstrating the value of having an elite defender on the floor against top competition. Once his shooting become more consistent, he'll be the perfect compliment to Brunson.

Now, if Deuce's offensive game can come around, and he can carry his weight on that side of the court, the trio of Grimes, Deuce, and IQ are going to make it very tough on opponents. Historically, the Knicks only win meaningful games when they defend. This was true in the late-60s and early 70s, it was true during the Hubie Brown era, and it was true during the Riley-Van Gundy era.

You win with defense, the other stuff is what Riley would call 'Fool's Gold'.

And while Hartenstein played well...Sims is still the more impactful player. Our pro personnel people suck a$$.

Very curious to see what trades Leon got cooked up for Evan, Rose, and Cam.

If Obi is out for a few games and Cam doesnt get in, as he didnt tonight, then that really seals his fate.

Thibs already said we’ll probably see more RJ at the 4 if Obi is out, so that means no Cam most likely (unless Cam just plays the 3).

Youd think wed want to raise Cam’s value if we’re trying to trade him, but if he requested the trade himself then hes not going to play. Wild how far hes fallen in just a few weeks. 8 man rotation it is.

Agree Clyde RJ's moving like an old man. His lateral movement is as bad as Fournier. Even average guys are blowing past him. Something's definitely has changed from last year. RJ's wasn't this bad on defense.

Clyde called RJ during the broadcast for allowing the AJ Griffen to right around him like he was a statue.

Funny though, if Randle plays like this regularly from here on out, his contract will be pretty good

Sure, we hope. But file this under "things we post maybe 20 times a season."

Positives:
Thibs playing the yutes
Randle not hesitating to shoot the rhythm 3s
Grimes finally gets a breakout game
Deuce getting national TV recognition for his defense
Mitch is an offensive rebounding beast

Negatives:
RJ’s jumpshoot is broken. It’s almost a surprise when he hits a wide open 3. Whatever he did over the summer is not working and needs to be tweaked.
Hartenstein is soft
Sucks to see Obi get hurt
Brunson is going through a tough stretch shooting
Our game threads are bad. May as well be reddi….nvm. We used to talk ball better on this forum.

Clyde says the same exact quotes every game. He is quite often wrong about things that just happened on the court but, his go to quotes still happen. He's not the best announcer ever but, still better than Wally.

RJ leapt out to defend and AJ made the move around him on that play into the paint and no help defense came. The paint was packed at the time. It was not a great play by RJ but multiple defenders were behind him and did nothing in the one replay I saw on that call by Clyde. As usual we pack the paint and someone has to charge the perimeter to defend an open player. AJ saw it coming and adjusted from what I saw.

As for RJ. He looks slower and sloppier than usual tonight. I haven't seen much of the last bunch of games at all. Not sure how he looked in those games. His inconsistent play is aggravating for sure though. I am sure when he has a good game the PG thread will have less traffic.
