If Mitch was coming back for the postseason, I legit think getting Lavine could put us in the finals. This defense would just be scary good with 48 minutes of Mitch & IH behind it...and Zach could dominate bench units when Jalen & Julius are resting, while giving them a lot more space to do their thing.

The price would have to be right, our doctors would have to triple-check his knees, and we'd need to quash any beef with Klutch...but he's exactly what this team is lacking (other than an MVP-caliber #1).

Ok Zach. We know it's you. And we heard you the first time!

Yeah. Zach on here earlier shytting on Murray's defense! Bruh, you don't play defense either! Zach LaVine confirmed!

When iHart gets paid this offseason it will be easier to move Mitch to the bench so the Knicks will have both of these guys around for years and you will like it....

The team is probably slightly ragged from the trade commotion. It's an adjustment period before they settle in.

that's probably right but it might have been he's a really good rebound guy

Brunson, Randle, iHart, Donte, and OG is a very nice starting unit. Our best lineup since the 90s. Nothing new to really say about them. Brunson is dropping dimes. Julius is bullying. OG lockin. Hartenstein cleanin. Donte wettin.

Grimes and McBride have really disappointed me these last 2 games though. The bench is floundering with them at guard. Just not enough creation/playmaking. Precious has also been meh. Taj is probably the best out of our backup bigs right now but they may be saving him for later. Sims really cant beat these dudes out?

The bench has another month to impress before the deadline. I trust Leon to do something, without emptying the cupboard, if they dont step up. In the meantime we definitely raised our ceiling with the OG pickup.

The start of the 4th the Bulls brought it within 1. OG + Hartenstein came back in at 93-91 and we went on a 22-7 run to close the game

I’m not exactly dancing in the streets after this win. As good as our starters were, the bench is that bad. The bulls were on the 2nd night of a back to back with 2 nba offensive players and they hung around a lot of night. I don’t think it was us not trying either.

On the other hand derozan and Coby white shot out their asses and the bulls gave us a fight but we still won going away easily. And our starting lineup dominated. We can find a way to patch up the bench at some point

Us out talenting the bulls, when they’re on B2B is just whatever. I’ll be willing to believe depending on how this looks on Friday. There’s a lot of promise but we’ll still need to add a third scorer and/or ball handler if we want to make conference title run.

jvsimonetti0514 wrote:But seriously OG’s defense is elite and it’s contagious. You’ve even got Julius jumping passing lanes and getting steals. Combine that with Hartenstein flying all over the court we can really defend. We’ve got real issues with the bench though. I’m kinda afraid the 76ers are going to run us off the court. You can’t even really get 10 mins from the bench.

When Randle got that steal in the back court I was like "damn... Julius?! Way to go!"

Absolutely love what OG has brought to NY.

If we keep both, starting shouldn’t matter. Who ever is having the better game should get the most minutes. But we shouldn’t tie up to much money at the C honestly

Agreed. I like Donte & Ihart in the line up. Both show girt and can still get better.

All we need is an IQ replacement to run the second unit

Use a TPE and the Dallas pick or crappy det/was pick

Agreed. Have to put this win in proper context.
