Randle, Mitch , McBride is an extremely strong package for a team looking to beef up their front court with more rugged players .....the picks will not need to be crazy good potentially.
Personally I love the fit of Randle over there in Memphis, he may add more value than JJJ esp when paired with Mitch Rob. McBride is an incredible defensive combo guard to back up Bane and Ja. They wanted a better rim protector than Jonas and Mitch is exactly that.
The fit actually makes a lot of sense on both sides. We need a better ball handling 1, Smart is that type of player more than McBride.
You don't trade for Bridges and not consider that he'll handle ball handling duties -- one of his literal talents -- will function with a staggered rotation when JB is resting. This idea makes the team worse off.
I disagree with the assumption being we still get one of I Hart or Goga to complement JJJ.
JJJ can play both 4 and 5 and is a DPOY caliber player. Team would be tougher to score on than Fort Knox. Under Thibs it absolutely would make us better.
