Wow. Thibs is smiling and profiling.

He's been released from fear of Randle and has a center who can shoot the daylights out of the rock. He knows he's about to win his first championship as a head coach.

So Hindworst says the Knicks added an all-star and all-nba player to a team that was a threat to win east....um, yea, by trading them an all-star and all-nba player. Let's not act like Randle didn't accomplish those things and all of a sudden the Knicks now have something they didn't before.

Better fitting? Sure, we can go there but don't make me defend Randle any more I'm starting to get annoyed at the media dry humping the Knicks. The bandwagon is full of actual fans...go away.

The bench really inspires little confidence. We need to see a legit backup PF/C brought in.

We need someone off the bench - preferably a guard - who can score the ball.

There clearly going to stagger the minutes...OG didn't sign that huge deal to just sit in the corner and watch Brunson/KAT run P&R

Also Mikal will certainly get some secondary playmaking looks as well.

We certainly are thin in terms of depth. I'm sure they are hoping one of the vets stabilizes things with Payne or Shamet.

TJ Warren has always been a bucket getting they just brought him into camp wonder if he makes it for an additional scoring option.

I said this in the other thread but I will be shocked if TJ makes the team. Dude just hasn't looked right in 3 years.

Shamet most likely makes it now because Divo got traded.

Neither guy will replace what he brought to the table unfortunately

That sounds promising

Yeah...so far-based on what I've read -he seems to be getting an unfair rep on defense...

the biggest issues i've heard about him is he is really bad at playing drop - around the rim he is a presence and will block shots.

Brunson
McBride

OG
KAT

Or

Brunson
Bridges
OG
Precious
KAT

I think Thibs will keep Hart coming off the bench

i agree - i could see Thibs experimenting with both but starting precious gives your bench more scoring with both Hart and McBride.

You know, something I've noticed about everyone here the last two and a half years: Everyone is really passionate about the players that come through here. For better or worse.

The fact that I've seen folks checking in to see what Divo and Randle are up to, or how much love folks still have for RJ and IQ...it's different. Other fan bases aren't like this one, I'll say that much. Dudes would come and go in NJ and people didn't care one iota about em once that jersey changed (and best believe, the players reciprocated that feeling).

As tough as it is to play in NYC, because excellence is the expectation no matter what sport, it also comes with some real love. Tough love at times, but love all the same.

Carry on, just making a random observation at 4:57pm on a sleepy Thursday.
