yeah and it’s still fresh… can’t say i really blame him
they just did a feature on them for gq and then had to change the article too. i think this all really came out of left field.

Donte cleared it up. He wasn't talking to Thibs at all. He had some jokes here and there, but the thing that's catching the headlines is he was talking to Rick when he was at the free throw line. Supposedly they're going to discuss privately.

all the starters left the game early?
I thought Brunson went directly back to the locker room before the rest of the starters exited the game in the 3rd quarter. Maybe it was just a bathroom break.
He came right back. Probably had to take a dump.

Knicks gave him the contract last year.
Knicks Fans root for the name of the front of the chest, not the back, unless you are in Knick lore.
Donte was here one season, he need to chill with all that noise
I was just telling my buddy about this. Fans out here acting like he’s been here forever.
Face facts. He was here for a year. Time to move the hell on.

No clue who that guy is. Not any of the main assistances, anyway. Dude rolled up to Randle like he owed him money.
That went on a little longer than seems normal.
Trust me, giving Randle an extension would have been a very bad decision.
I don't know how you come to that conclusion from him talking to some no-name guy who very obviously went into Randle first.
It’s unrelated. But Randle is not a guy to extend into his mid 30s. He’s the worst playoff performer in history isn’t he? He’s phony and has baggage.

He clearly said in the video “Thanks for the trade, Thibs.” Dude is lying and he looked shook in the postgame.

It sucks because DDV was a big part of the fun and good vibes last year. Part of the grit and grind makeup we had. Shart really detonated all of that by taking the bag from OKC? I hope he fails miserably over there and I hope Donte has a shyt season/career after this.
I think Hartenstein messed up by going to OKC, because if you look at it the Knicks were going to give him the full amount ($72.5M) they could give him. His contract with OKC ($87M) is only guaranteed for 2 years, and the 3rd year is a team option.
I've been saying for months that guarantee 4 years is better than guarantee 2. Him accepting that offer told me he didn't really want to be here long term. Which is fine, do what you will, but sugar coating it -- in hindsight -- pisses me off.

Why would Donte say this is what happens when they let you run things to Rick though? Rick isn't running shyt? This makes zero sense now.

When Randle didn’t get the extension he wanted, things fell apart. That’s Occam’s Razor anyway.

Donte was only with the Knicks for a year, but the bond with the nova guys runs deep. Can’t blame the guy for wanting to be here. Emotions were high.

I didn't really care about losing white donte until this game. He provides a type of character that really can solidify a team.

I don't agree with anything you just said, but I'm not turning this into a pro-Randle thread. Salute.
