A major adjustment from the Utah game was everyone got their hands up, stretched out and in the lanes

Defensively, this was a huge difference, but it was easy to do. Get your frigging hands up and out. It was a simple adjustment, but with it came a massive improvement

we missed Deuce too...his 3 ball and another good perimeter defender.

Yeah, I agree. We can have all the debates we want, but we clearly upgraded our talent even though we lost depth.

yeah emergence of Deuce certainly helped the 2 for 1 with OG trade.

Cam Payne pickup is mitigating scoring a bit off bench with loss of DD

JUst need MIkal shot to come along and our offense will be scarier.

I said it after the last game where we lost. He was still great in spite of the rest of the team being flat

His historic +/- numbers show that

He’s entering, if not already in, Kawhi prime level in terms of affecting both ends of the court

Even at his worst, Mikal is still averaging 16/4/4 shooting 46% overall from the field and 30% from three for the season

Tbh, I like mikal. I think he is on some sort of Andy Kaufman sketch with all his different forms to fck with us. And with everyone else stepping up he can take his time getting right or figuring out what character he wants to fully lean into. If he does decide to be his best self it will take us to a whole new level.
