I hope Thibs calms down some by the time Mitch is back. Payne/Deuce/Shamet/Precious/Mitch is a lot of depth for him to work with. The starting 5 is fine. Get the bench going so we don't burn out everyone by the ASG. I don't wanna another year of limping into the playoffs. Freak injuries are risky enough. No need to run guys into the ground for 82 games. Health is the most important factor for this team. It should be the priority the rest of the season. The chemistry will come he more everyone gets to play.

I don't see how he can run short rotations at that point. I bet he's gonna try though! :o

Team blows. It's just Thibs playing the starters a lot vs crappy teams. Fake hustle

This is partially true. We have the talent and Thibs overplays his hand. He sucks.

Will look worse once this 10 game losing streak is over.

Despite all of the doom and gloom of a three game skid around here and, the anger Thibs has evoked, I am still down with this team. A few tweaks to the bench is really all we need to do. I mean, if a trade made sense that we were willing to add one of the top guys came around sure. I just feel that this roster is very close to championship level. It's just a matter of working some magic on the fringes and STAYING FRESH AND HEALTHY for the playoffs.

Can the FO/HC make that happen? TBD. We are still one of the best teams in the league. 24-13 is not the end of the world. Rome wasn't built in a day.

My feelings won't change. My only issue is really with the HC. That's not gonna change until he does. The roster is loaded with talent that seems to fit well. The bench needs work and the HC needs to stop the BS. If Thibs goes on a ten game skid and he isn't fired...I will then have a problem with the FO for wasting time with him.

Like I said, we are as close to a championship roster as I have seen in decades. Very close. The HC has to figure it out and the FO has to continue building around this core until they get it right. The bench problems aren't all about lack of talent. It's injuries and how the HC uses them. All three can be fixed.

I am confident we are on the right path to a championship. I am not as confident that it will happen this year but, we are very close.

Let's be honest. We all went in to the summer thinking run it back and add Mikal and we would be happy. Not all but, many thought that would be the case. We were riding that January fever. Then shyt went sideways and there was no way of knowing what we were gonna look like until right before pre season.

After that it was all about how long does it take to build chemistry and see what we are as a team. Positive results came back and we all got excited.

I am not deluded to think this IS our year but, it could be with some luck and a solid bench move or two. I'm still here for the ride though. It might take another year. Who knows? After the last 20+ years I have zero complaints about the direction of the team outside of the HC being a lunatic. We are a top team in the East and the sky is the limit if they can put it all together. Health is the biggest issue that goes hand in hand with the HC and the bench.

Knicks need 3 more seasons to fix the bench, coaching and Brunson's point guard skills
