Everything he has done for that franchise and they act like he is a scumbag for wanting to get paid and work a lil less as he ages.

I hate how players are complete idiots when it pertains to their on-court worth.

Congrats big dawg.

4 days into the 2025 and you've already wrapped up the worst take of the year.

Do you see him like RJ?

I like him a little more than that to meet his potential because he actually has the physical chops to be dominant. He does need the game to slow down for him to become more consistent. But check his December splits.

I think he's a decent player but he's nothing special in the NBA. Never have I watched him play and thought to myself, wow Kuminga's leaving an imprint on this game.

Their player profiles are a bit different but I think he could be Harrison Barnes type of starter. Somebody who provides depth and is fairly dependable, albeit with a limited impact on the game. He could be valuable player - I meant inconsequential from a historical perspective. Nobody will remember him, but they will remember Jimmy.

RJ's a more aggressive/active offensive player and a worse defender. I see him more as a 6th man, like Jamal Crawford, Ben Gordon or Jerry Stackhouse when he played for Dallas. I don't think his game currently projects well for a starter role on a winning team, but I think he could be dynamite off the bench. If he committed to playing defense, it would change my view entirely.

Any team who trades for Jimmy Butler will be getting the 2003 version of Latrell Sprewell

Minny got one WCF appearance out of Sprewell, missed the playoffs the following season, and then Sprewell retired

GSW would make a mistake trading Wiggins for Butler.

I think a surprise team like the Nuggets (Michael Porter Jr) or Clippers (Normal Powell) could sweep in for Butler.

Ben Taylor needs to be retired as a ref, either by the league or by the fans themselves.

That's fitting. Same as the Knicks. They won't see one for another 20 years too.

I see where you were going with that. I'm paying hyper attention to Kuminga because... I took a chance on him in BAF.

I brought up RJ not as a stylistic comp but as a level of player. Someone you hope to be good but they leave something to be desired with their current output. The Barnes comp is one I made though I think that's his floor with his current numbers compared with Barnes at the same age. A Barnes/Gordon hybrid sounds about right to me.

He's been more dynamic lately but that has come and gone.
