I'm totally cool with him giving guys practice days off...he better with the way they play the games. But if anything this game was a perfect example of why you want to have fresh legs with this team. The energy level...I didn't see short shots.

More reason to better manage the minutes and keep guys away from 40 mins especially when you don't have the luxury off 3 days in between a game.

It's not even worth the keystrokes anymore. People will defend every thing he does. Usually with strawman arguments or flat out lies. Blinders on. Trying to make slick ass remarks even when the HC did the most MORONIC thing possible. Putting an ALREADY INJURED ALL STAR/MVP player back in a 21 pt blow out with 3 minutes left!! Only to watch him get fouled and fly into the crowd thirty seconds later! WTF?!?! INEXCUSABLE!

Whatever. Good to see us handle business against a hot team with an over .500 record. We looked well rested and Thibs used the bench early. I applaud that effort to expand the rotation. It's really not much to ask but, here we are clapping for the HC to use he players he has. Look. It worked. AGAIN! Maybe he starts working this out now. I just want to be healthy for the playoffs and not have guys running on fumes and dropping like flies,

He didn't put up crazy stats, but the Knicks played so much better on both ends of the floor when he was on the court which shows with his team high +27.

On offense, he set great screens to free up guys like Shamet for open looks. On defense, he was a menace, ended up with 3 stocks but also did a lot of intangibles that dont show up in the box score

This is why I want Precious to start ! But Josh fanboys think moving him to the bench is being a hater !!

Yeah, I mean even if they don't shoot well (Payne/McBride) had rough shooting games. Just simply playing some defense and giving the starters a much needed rest will only help later in the game. Also Shamet and Precious gave really quality minutes.

We saw a completely different OG tonight then we have in a while. 3 Stocks, good shooting, attacking the basked and sow that explosion we saw earlier in the season. This is the guy we need to be the most cautious with. This version of him puts us in a position to beat anyone.

10-3 coming into tonight since they fired their HC. Over .500 record by a couple of games. Not really. It was a shootout and everyone was on fire except KAT. It's a good win though. The game saving move was made late in the fourth. Thibs out KAT back in to protect a 21pt lead with 3 minutes to go. KAT took a foul and flew into the crowd taking out camera men in his wake. Really sealed the win.

It really is pointless. It’s basically tribalism. Fight to the death to defend their guy and refuse to consider the possibility they may be wrong. Just double down and strawman and grasp at straws trying to present some sort of argument they believe will hold any weight to justify it in their mind. It’s delusional really. 3 days off is why we won in this fashion, but to them, every win now is praise Thibs! It’s hilarious at this point

You're divisive if you think I'm a player fan when I'm a team fan all the way !! :noway:

I was a Lin fan, and when he went to Rockets I stayed a Knick fan... I admit Cam turned me into a player fan again while he was here then he went to Portland I stayed a Knick fan

I see Josh's been playing extremely well... but he's getting triple double because he gets the boards and the ball is in his hands as he makes decisions and assists... that's why the ball is in his hand a lot/ a little too much when other better playmakers like JB and Mikal could have it instead. He's not a natural floor spacer and ball movement can get stagnant MORE TIMES VS THE REAL CONTENDERS. Again and again, imo Josh being in the SL is one of main causes we haven't been able to beat the top tier teams regardless how well he's been playing (any capable NBA starting level facilitator would see automatic increased stats when they have the ball in his hands as much as it's in Josh's).

Josh's playing extremely well would mean we would DESTROY teams with him coming off the bench. For the 100000th time, he'd still be playing starter minutes, this solves our bench production, elevates other bench players playing with him, gives starting lineup size with Precious helping KAT with rebounds and paint defense...

Got plenty of criticism for the players though. Game to game. Quarter to quarter. Minute to minute. Fixed then broken then fixed shots.

I don't hate Thibs but I hate things he does at times. I love this roster and I think we are really close to a title. I'm enjoying as much as I can with this team. Doesn't mean everything is perfect.

One thing I have realized is PERFECT is not only unattainable it is actually UNDESIRABLE. Only the uncertainty of winning keeps us locked in. Imagine even Patriot fans during the Brady era. If he was an AUTOMATIC Super Bowl CHamp even they would get BORED. That said, Thibs is far from Brady.

I will say this. I really hope Thibs effort to run 9 deep tonight wasn't a blip on the screen. It really is our Achilles heel. If Mitch comes back and we add a TJ Warren or whoever, Thibs will have a lot of depth to play with. It's really the biggest thing I want to see. I don't care about his simplistic offense and his archaic defense as much as this. We have talent to win in spite of the latter two things. They just need to be able to keep pace with the opponent. Tired legs will kill this team on both ends of the court.

Memphis is up next. Need to punch them in the mouth too. I want this streak to run right into the BOS game on 2/8!!!
